Thinking about a service contract for my Wrangler, worth it? (4 อ่าน)

I've got a 2016 Jeep Wrangler JK with 130k km and I'm starting to see more frequent maintenance needs. I usually pay as I go but I've been looking at prepaid service plans from independent shops. Some cover oil changes, filters, brake fluid flushes, and inspections. Others include bigger items like belts, hoses, and even water pumps. I found a place that offers an Abu Dhabi Service Contract for Jeeps and the price seems reasonable for a two year plan. My question is, do these plans actually save money for a higher mileage vehicle, or do they just give peace of mind? I'm worried about fine print excluding things like diagnostics or only covering certain hours of labor. Has anyone here signed up for a service contract on an older Wrangler and actually come out ahead? Also wondering if they let you choose your own oil brand or if you're stuck with whatever they buy in bulk. The car is paid off and I plan to keep it for another three years. Any experiences would be great. Thanks.
