Hi all, my family and I are planning a road trip from Texas to Mexico next month. Someone told me my regular U.S. policy won’t fully cover me there and that I need mexican car insurance for tourists. I had no idea about this before. Has anyone here driven into Mexico recently? How did you arrange coverage, and was it expensive? I’d love to hear your experience so I can prepare properly.
