I’m looking for clarity on corporate tax obligations for businesses operating in the UAE. I recently started a small mainland company and keep hearing different timelines and requirements. In the middle of my research, I came across corporate tax registration in dubai, but I’m still unsure who must register, what documents are needed, and what deadlines apply.

Does this process differ for free zone entities versus mainland companies? Also, what penalties exist for late registration or mistakes? Any real experiences, tips, or official resources would be really appreciated.
